The PosturalLux device is used in the type of test called Postural Lux.

The device must be physically connected to the computer; connection is established via a serial cable and must be performed by qualified personnel.

What to do if the computer has no serial ports

If the computer has no serial ports, you can adjust it in two ways.
In any case, these interventions are not covered in this manual and do not ensure that you will be able to connect PosturalLux to the computer.

• If the computer allows inserting additional cards, buy a serial port card. This is the most effective solution.
• If the computer does not allow inserting additional cards, you can use a serial / USB adapter, available on the market. In this case, however, make sure the quality of the adapter is good and that the system allows fast data transfer. Otherwise, the test results might be affected negatively.
